I thought I’d bring everybody along for another horsey check and talk a bit about what’s going on around here as we move into phase 5 of the property build and growth plan. I also finally get an opportunity to quickly cover what I refer to as “an easy way to identify a pushy horse” because this is generally a safe way to work with your horse to get them to keep some space despite having draw through treats. Giving treats to horses mostly turns into a pushing contest by the horse and they almost always win, which teaches them further to be pushy.
